「 I like to stand and watch the overflowing information, as if observing wild winds and ocean, seeing it float, fade away, come close and afar, wasting.」

Living in a modern society with the explosion of mass information, I sometimes make the choice to give up absorbing these overflowing pieces of information, this is not a paranoia but a beauty of temporal wastefulness.

The role that lighting plays in our lives, apart from that it illuminates, it is also perceived as a certain condition of a mechanical non-organism; for example the LED lights installed inside the computer to display the power and data processing status or the brake lights and indicators on an automobile proves the same concept.

I see this piece Scattered Coordinates Sound in two perspectives; one is called a ‘standby’ condition and the other a ‘scattered’ condition. Once the viewers enter this work they will instantly receive an intense rapidness because of the constant flashing of lights, however to the lights full of liveliness and organism they simply perform their physical orders and phenomenon to flash irregularly to present a scattered condition, an itinerant mess.

Sound is part of the beauty of scattering, it is irregular, it goes up and down, it has a character of the coordinates and it sounds like similar to nature-like soundscape.

「資訊充滿 我喜歡站著看它如狂風與大海一般 浪費著」

生活在資訊充滿的今日,有時我對「滿溢」的資訊選擇了放棄吸收,這並非是一種焦慮,而是一種短暫浪費的美感。

燈光在我們的生活當中,除了照明的功能,也表示一種機械無生命體的某個狀態,如:電腦上的LED,表示電源開啟以及資料運算的狀態,汽車的煞車燈與方向燈也是如此。

《流竄座標》這件作品我將他視為兩個狀態,一個稱為「待機」狀態,另一個為「流竄」的狀態。觀眾進入作品之後,燈光激烈的閃爍呈現一種快速的訊息感, 而充滿生命感的日光燈依照自己的物理現象不定時亮起,呈現一個流竄的狀態,一個動態的錯亂。

聲音是流竄的美感之一,它不一致、它此起彼落、它富有座標性,聲音聽起來如一種「類自然」的音景。
